The next Chicago Pleasure Salon will be Tuesday, July 6, 2010 from 6-10pm in the back room at Villains Bar, 649 S. Clark St. Please join us for Chicago’s ongoing monthly sex-positive meet-and-great! No cover, 18 and older, 21 to drink. 1/2 price appetizers, $4 Lauginitas beers.
The Chicago Pleasure Salon has been Chicago’s monthly sex-positive meet and greet since April 2009. Modeled on New York’s Pleasure Salon, “A Gathering of Sex-Positive Activists”, we want to build networks among all kinds of sex-positive people and create an open exchange of ideas about sex. Newcomers are encouraged to attend and we strive for openness, honesty, and tolerance among participants. All are welcome.
The Salon’s original hosts, Clarisse Thorn, founder of the Sex-Positive Film Festival, and SerpentLibertine, organizer with SWOP-Chicago, came together with several other members of the various sex-positive communities in Chicago including BDSM, swinger, Poly, sex worker, LGBTQ, and various other communities to create a pansexual gathering unlike any other in Chicago. Chicago Pleasure Salon meets every first Tuesday from 6-10pm at Villians Bar in the South Loop neighborhood.
